Yes! I am so psyched. Thank you, thank you , thank you. I got home and read that wonderful email today saying congratulations, I am accepted for a teacher’s assistantship. I can’t wait to tell my parents, my friends and post it on PI. I am going to walk into school tomorrow with a strut and my shoulders way back. I won’t say anything, just have this big grin on my face. Weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee. So happy. Thank you God.

Wow! I jumped out of bed today and I told everyone at school that I am going to leave school and go to SU. I watched a video today of SU and am so excited. I am at total ease and full of anticipation. I am super happy about my news of being a TA. I can imagine myself now, being an assistant professor. How exciting. Yesssssssssssssssssssss.
Wow. I woke up today and I had to pinch myself to see if my great news was true. I have come such a long way in the last year. My GRE grades, my application, my acceptance and now the best, my TA position. Thank you, God. I know that everything is going perfect and I am going to work hard and enjoy the process at SU. USA, USA!!!!!
I can’t wait to start my TA position. I picture it clearly. On the first day I am going to say to the class, ‘This is my dream come true!’ When I walk down the hall, I am going to walk like Tony Robbins and feel the joy. I am so grateful for the TA position. Yes!!!!!
I love the way I have so many friedns at Syraacuse. The drive from Ithaca is going to serve me to get totally psyched up and enjoy day, especially my new title as TA. I am so grateful.
I am so grateful for being accepted as a TA. I vision myself teaching the class. I am going to show initiative and teach as much as I can. I know my professor will give me freedom to teach. I am going to meet so many people now that I am a TA. Dr. Ewing, it sounds so good. Sounds like me!!!

Every morning when I wake up, I am still so excited about my great news. It is June now and I am finishing off my school year. I walk around the school with a strut cause I know that I am going to be a TA at Syracuse soon. I am psyched. I am a lot of energy.

Today is the first day of the summer program. I will be in USA in a month. I am still thrilled about my TA position. It is great the way my tuition is paid for , allowing me more freedom. I love myself and I am so thankful.

I am writing this on the plane to the USA! It was sad saying goodbye to Lucas and Teo yesterday but I know that I have done a lot for them and they have done more for me. I have had a grateful life in Spain. I am so thankful for all my experiences which I will take with me. I just told the woman next to me my story and she was impressed with my life and the courage I have had to change. When I told her that I got accepted into Syracuse University and that I am going to be a TA, I felt proud of myself. Now I am going to see Joy. That is exciting. We will laugh and I will share with her how I feel about being accepted as a TA and how I am looking forward to it. Can’t wait to be in the States. I am so fortunate and thank you, God for my acceptance into SU and my opportunity to be a TA. I can imagine myself in front of future teachers. How exciting. I have so much to tell them about teaching. The first thing is to enjoy and appreciate their job, just as I enjoy being a TA. Yesssssssssss!
I am taking a week vacation in the States and when I stepped off the plane, the first thing that came to my mind was, ‘Thank you God for giving me the TA position!’
I had a great time with Joy and now we are on our way to Ithaca. I am getting closer to my dream, a TA position at SU. TA at SU! It sounds so good. Thank you God.
Ok I am in Ithaca now and it is sinking in. I will be going to SU soon. I will contact Patricia to see if she wants to meet me before I start my TA position. I am so excited and thankful.
Today was the first day of school. Patricia introduced me to the students as This is my TA, Jim Ewing. Wow, I did it! It felt great when she said that and it feels good now. I am going to give 100 percent and enjoy the process. I had a great day and I was on a high all the way back to Ithaca.
It has been a week now and I am loving it. I forgot to say that in the middle of August they had a training course for all the TA’s and I met a lot of people. In fact, I am still friends with some and we get together on the weekends. Everything is so sweet cause I am studying and teaching for free. My mind is free to study and I love it.
